Australia Day is coming up in just a few days. It is celebrated every year on the 26th of January, and every year Perth suburbs produce loads of free family entertainment and fantastic fireworks for everyone to enjoy. If you're looking for something to do on Australia Day this year, check out a few of these events.
The
Town of Bassendean is holding their 11th annual Australia Day Concert Fireworks celebrations. This hugely popular event will be held at Ashfield Reserve in Ashfield from 5.00pm to 9.00pm, and is expected to be bigger and better than ever.
The
City of Armadale will be holding a spectacular fireworks display in Minnawarra Park. Come along from 5pm, for plenty of free entertainment, children's activities, carnival rides, live entertainment, food stalls and much more, before the fireworks start at 8.30pm.
The fantastic
City of Perth Australia Day Skyworks will once again be held on the Swan River foreshore. The fireworks start at 8pm, but during the day there will be loads of free activities and entertainment for the whole family at the Entertainment Zone in Langley Park.
The
City of Fremantle and the
City of Cockburn will once again join together to present the annual Indian Ocean SkyShow. This is always a popular event with families and a fantastic Australia Day event.
Come along to the
City of South Perth , Sir James Mitchell Park in South Perth, for a whole day of fantastic Australia Day entertainment and activities. The day starts off at 8am with an Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony, followed by a Great Aussie Breakfast at 9.30am, and a program of fun family events at the Celebration Zone from 2pm till 7.30pm.
The
Town of Cottesloe ,
Town of Mosman Park and
Shire of Peppermint Grove will once again join together to host a combined Australia Day Event. This popular community event will be held in the grounds of Memorial Park, in Mosman Park, commencing at 8am, and will include citizenship ceremonies, presentation of the Australia Day Awards and a free community barbecue breakfast.
The
Town of Cambridge will be hosting an Australia Day Festival at Perry Lakes Reserve. Celebrate the day in Aussie style with a Citizenship Ceremony, plenty of fantastic children's entertainment and activities, and a yummy free breakfast.
