Hosted by the City of Cockburn, join MC Adrian Alaberg for Australia Day celebrations. It's FREE and held on Tuesday 26 January at Coogee Beach Reserve, 4-6 Powell Rd, Coogee, from 8am to midday. Get there early for your free sausage sizzle as it's only there while stocks last. Sit back, relax, and enjoy performances by Murphy's Lore , Perth's premier corporate rock band, Dilip 'n the Davs , Fremantle's busiest and most dynamic originals party band, Bindjareb Middars , a family-run traditional Aboriginal dance group with over 20 years experience, and something a bit different for the kids from the Flamingo Strings , a new educational string quartet; revitalising classical music for the young and curious minds.

Other activities to enjoy in the park other than free sausage sizzles are free amusement rides and slides, free water, South Coogee Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade demos, weaving and multicultural food available to purchase on-site. On the beach is where you'll find mermaids and a sandcastle building competition, so are you ready to build your dream castle?

This is an accessible event with accessible parking and toilets. Valet bike parking will be available and BikeWise will also be holding a Balance Bike Clinic and free bike check and tunes. Don't forget to bring your sun-smart gear like hats, sunnies, sunscreen, water bottle, and bathers and towel for those going in for a dip. Most of all, bring cash as there are no EFTPOS machines!
