If you're looking for something fun (and rewarding) to do this Australia Day, but your wallet is preventing you from spending the day downing beers, and your cholesterol is telling you to step away from all that barbecued food, then the Macedon Ranges Running Club has got just the thing for you - their annual Australia Day Fun Run!

That's right: this Australia Day you're invited to join in on a completely free 5km fun run at Sankey Reserve in Gisborne to celebrate what a great country Australia is.



Participants are invited to dress up in the iconic Australia colours of green and gold, and spend the day outside in the Australian heat, getting a tan and sweating up the place - because, if you live in Australia, you know that's inevitable.



All ages and abilities are invited to join in on making their way around this picturesque (and flat!) 5 kilometre course. A number of facilities will be present including water stations, safety & first aid officers, and club marshals to help cheer you on as you go around.



Registration will be at 7:30am on the day, and the run will commence afterwards. Come down and join in on this great community-driven event, and remind yourself how great we Australians are.
