On Thursday the 26th of January 2023, City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters is hosting a special Australia Day event on St Peters Street from 9:30am to 11am. The celebrations, taking place near the library, will feature entertainment by the Australian Girls' Choir in addition to the local Australia Day awards presentation and citizenship ceremony. You'll also be treated to morning tea. The event is free, however, bookings are required and can be made via their website . St Peters Street is located in St Peters, just off Payneham Road.



Then, from 12:30pm to 3:30pm, you're welcome to spend the afternoon poolside at Norwood Swimming Centre . There will be music, games and a sausage sizzle for all to enjoy. Entry is $5 per person and tickets are available online . Norwood Swimming Centre can be found on Phillips Street in Kensington.
