New to Canberra, I love exploring this city and the secrets that it holds with my family.
Family fun & fireworks over the border in NSW
Celebrate Australia Day at Queanbeyan, just 20 minutes from Canberra's city centre! Starting at 4:30pm will be the official proceedings with a Citizenship Ceremony conducted by the Mayor, City of Queanbeyan Australia Day Awards, National Anthem presented by Sing Australia Choir and more.

For kids there will be a free merry-go-round, jumping castle, face painting, removable tattoos and lots of dancing! Local covers band Code Red will play classic Aussie rock and blues starting from 6pm and the highlight of the night will be the family fireworks at 9pm.

See the Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council website for details.
