Come and celebrate Australia Day at the Morningside Panthers for a good old fashioned, family day out!
Funded by a community grant for grass roots sport, you'll discover many local clubs and communities who can introduce you to their game from cricket to Gaelic hurling, golf to sailing and everything in between. Several will have fun competitions and demonstrations for you to give it a go and see if it's for you.
There will be a Battle of the Codes as the Morningside Panthers AFL takes on Riverside Rebels Rugby Union in a Tug of War that could get ugly and for something a little different pig races!
Children can enjoy facepainting, bouncy castles, egg and spoon races and much more - all free! There will be numerous food stalls to keep the hunger pangs at bay, plus a DJ and live band, Commercially Sound, to make this Australia Day rock!
