The Aussie crooner, Darren Percival will be performing some of our favourite songs live at Australia Zoo's Mount Franklin Crocoseum from 11.30 in the morning. Stick around the Crocoseum and catch the Wildlife Warriors doing their daring stunts with the saltwater crocs.

Face Painting and Major Prize Draw

Face painting for the children


Besides the animals, the pie eating competition, the pavlova and lamington decorating at Australia Zoo, children can have their faces painted to look like their favourite animals or perhaps enter the colouring-in competition. Keep your eyes peeled, there is so much on the go!

Make sure you go into the draw to win a two-night stay for two in a one bedroom apartment at Peppers Noosa Resort and Villas - your stay at this fabulous resort will include full buffet breakfasts. This is the main prize in the draw, with many other awesome prizes to be won.

Pony Rides
Between 11.00am and 3.00pm

Pony rides between 11.00am and 3.00pm


Who doesn't love a pony ride? Pony rides will be on all day except between 12.00noon and 12.45pm - the ponies will need their lunch!

In addition, Australia Zoo have twenty-two different animal encounters available. Share lunch time with the cheeky wombats; hand feed the rascally lemurs; cuddle a cute koala; be entranced by the cheetah's purr or get up close and personal with a rhinoceros. To book your animal encounter online, please click here. Alternatively, bookings for animal encounters can be made at the Information and Tour Desk on the day of the encounter.
