Spend a fun day out with the family this Australia Day
There is no better place to celebrate Australia Day than at Aussie World on the Sunshine Coast. Every year thousands of people descend on the Palmview theme park for the true blue events, entertainment and food.

There will be a patriotic flag raising ceremony from 10am followed by the signing of the national anthem. From there it's straight into the action with dunny races. This is a hotly contested race each year with corparate teams taking part. The winners will be presented with a toilet seat trophy and declared the Dunny Race Champions of the World.

The famous Ettamogah Pub will be open throughout the day from 9am with live music pumping out later in the afternoon.

The Aussie World Australia Day Ute Show will also run from 9am-1pm outside the Pub. The presentation of the Ute Show winners will be at 12.45pm.

Of course, Aussie World itself will be open throughout the day for anyone looking to seal the deal on a perfect family fun day on Australia Day.
