Get set for a fantastic Aussie day at the Port

From 9am to 2pm on Australia Day, there'll be heaps of free fun activities for the whole family to celebrate Australia Day.



It's all happening on the wharf next to the lighthouse. There'll be street performers, face painting, art activities, a bungee trampoline, a good old fashioned Punch and Judy show and heaps more.

If you've never been inside the landmark lighthouse before, this day will be a great opportunity to do it - there'll be free entry.

Browse the Fisherman's Wharf Markets , grab a bargain and something tasty to eat, get yourself a seat and watch the Port Adelaide Rowing Club Sprint Regatta.



Want to win a double pass to St Jerome's Laneway Festival ? Of course you do! Who wouldn't? During Port Day, from 9am to 2pm, pop in to the "Our Port" stand in Lighthouse square and help them with a short survey. Each prize is valued at $252 and there are 5 double passes to be given away. Port Adelaide is a short 14kms drive from Adelaide. It's an area steeped in maritime history and is home to the world renowned Port River Dolphin Sanctuary .



When in the Port, pop into the Maritime Museum - it's a fantastic place to see, touch and experience our state's sea-faring history. If you're into things that move a bit faster, there's the National Railway Museum and the Aviation Museum. Both are brilliant places to visit with the whole family. It's never boring at the Port - there's so much there to see!
