If you're mesmerised by the art of quilting and all it can represent not just creatively, but emotionally as well, the AQC Quilt show from Thursday 5 to Sunday 8 April 2018, 10am to 4.30pm each day is where you need to be. Housed in the amazing Royal Exhibition Building Carlton Gardens at 9 Nicholson St, Carlton, Australia's premier quilting event brings the best international and local tutors together with quilters from around Australia and New Zealand.
Come along and see a one-off spectacular, including international exhibitions only seen at the AQC, as well as the best Australian quilts or to simply come and shop.

Get your daily entry tickets online from the website so you have more time for shopping, instead of standing in a queue, and save $3 per ticket by buying online. Save even further with multi-day tickets and adult/school group tickets. You can also order via a phone call to Expertise Events on 61 2 9452 7575 and please note, all tickets are non-refundable.

In addition, for your Gala Dinner and Lecture tickets, click here and select AQC Social Events and Lectures. For your Class bookings, click here. Meanwhile look forward to all that's ahead in the online magazine filled with features of the event to pore through. Stay in touch via their Facebook Page and Event Page for updates. For all else and the FAQs, the website is a good place to be. Put those dates firmly in your calendar, and consider multi-days tickets if you're an enthusiast, as with over 100 dedicated quilting exhibitors, special guests, tutors and classes, social events, and evening lectures, you just might need it.

A quilter's dream, this expo brings with it the latest quilting supplies, new product launches, the latest machines to test drive and exciting new fabrics and patterns. Get up close and personal with the Exhibitors as you wander around the show, along with lots of demonstrations and free floortalks and make and take classes to enjoy. If networking is beneficial to you, this is THE PLACE to be to indulge your passion for quilting and meet the quilters behind the quilts who'll inspire you, or you'll inspire each other with many fresh ideas.

To really experience the full AQC, become a Gold Pass delegate or a Two-day Delegate and attend classes for just two or all four days with leading international and Australian tutors. The Pass will give you VIP access to everything including lunch and morning tea each day, and even a massage. Everyone is a winner at this show with a fantastic lucky door prize competition valued up to $4522.

All visitors to AQC are in with a chance to win a first prize trip to Houston in November for the Houston, USA International Quilt Festival this year, complete with one return economy class airfare to Houston, Texas, full show pass, 4 nights accommodation and return private car transfers to and from the Houston airport. Second prize ain't so bad either, with $800 worth of Horn sewing furniture. Make sure you visit the competition area at the expo, fill in the entry form and you'll be in like Flynn into the lucky draw. Winners will be drawn at the end of the last day of the event and notified the following week.

A feel-good event, if you have any unwanted craft supplies (yarn, fabric, paper, lace, glue, braid, craft tools and embellishments; no money, unfinished projects, knitting needles, crochet hooks or pattern books), please place them in the special Craft for Kids Foundation area. Your donation will be stored at Expertise Event's warehouse and delivered to charities. You can also post these items with a completed donation form.

Be part of the Silent Auction and help raise money for the McGrath Foundation. A unique pink Handi Quilter Amara 20 long arm machine and frame will be auctioned to raise money for the McGrath Foundation breast care nurses. All of the auction proceeds will be donated to this great cause! Log your bid into the ipad provided at Handi Quilter, Stand 101, or go to blessington.com.au/bid-for-pink and place your bid.
