The manicured lawns of Austral Park make it a beautiful spot to have a picnic. The small gardens can be found in Linden Park, and are a way to spend sometime outdoors without having to battle with the sounds of kids on the playground.

If you want to picnic at Austral Park, bring along a picnic blanket. There are no picnic tables at the park so you'll have to find your spot on the lawn. Find some shade under one of the large trees, of pick a spot next to one of the beautiful rose gardens. There are no barbecue facilities at the park, so you'll have to prepare your picnic at home.

There is no playground at Austral Park, but there is plenty of room for the kids to run around. There is space where you'd be able to set up some ball games, or the kids can use it for a game of chasey. Your four legged friends will also love their time at the park.

The paths that run through Austral Park are also great for any kids who are trying to shed their training wheels. They can ride around the paths to build up their confidence, without having to worry about cars coming out of driveways or on the road.

Austral Park is a small place, but its real appeal lies in the tranquility of the park where you'll be able to just relax. It is well maintained and a lovely place to enjoy nature.

If you're looking for more parks and ovals in the area head to the Burnside City Council Website.
