You are served by those who served
This small coffee shop has only four tables inside and two outside in the mall. It is clean and bright and very welcoming.

I called in for my morning cappuccino and favourite toasted bacon sandwich. On ordering I was asked, "are you hungry?".

I was being served by John, an East Timor Veteran who held his hands apart like a boasting fisherman, "the bread we use is this long." Seeing my surprise he offered to make me a half sandwich. "Sauce? BBQ or tomato, how many slices of bacon?"

I ordered my cappuccino and I was asked, "cup, mug, or takeaway? Full cream or light milk, sugar? white or raw. I was beginning to think John may have served in the intelligence section. Talk about giving the customer what they want.

These didn't last long.
