Over 100 producers of fine craft spirits are contributing to a one-off event - an auction to fundraise for people who have been affected by bushfires and drought.

Feel virtuous as you bid for some of the 200 plus items on offer, knowing that
100% of funds raised from The Aussie Spirit Auction will go to Rural Aid. Rural Aid supplies crucial financial assistance, water and counselling to farming communities in times of natural disasters like bushfire and drought. The successful 'Buy a Bale' campaign is one of Rural Aid's better-known initiatives.
Auction items will include bottles of whisky, gin, rum, moonshine, vodka, liqueurs, experiences and more. Many items are unique, limited-edition, rare or even unobtainable. There's even a new whisky - 'The Aussie Spirit' - being specially created.

The auction is being run by a small team of volunteers, led by David Pearse from
5Nines Distilling.

There will also be a
charity auction dinner with a live auction to be held at Dockside, Cockle Bay Wharf, Balcony Level, Sydney, on
Friday 28th February. (The Dockside Group has donated their Dockside space and catering for the event.) 100% of ticket sales will also go to Rural Aid. As well as including canapés on arrival, a three-course gala dinner, and beverages (including local craft spirits), tickets provide the opportunity to bid on the Auction's best items. Tickets are $100 pp (plus booking fee), and can be bought online
