For Australia Day, there's nothing like going to the beach, so why not have attend the Aussie Beach Party?
There will be a range of things to do at the Australia Day - Aussie Beach Party, including activities such as rides, fun competitions, games, a puppet show (and puppet making workshop), live entertainment and much more. There will also be a skydiving display and fireworks to end the party. It is set to be a great day out, so grab the picnic rug and stay the day.
Kicking off with a free breakfast at 7:30am, day markets starting from 8:30am, a lamington scoff at Brennan Park in the early afternoon, and a sandcastle building competition in the late afternoon will be enough to keep you occupied. Plus, there will be live music and a vintage car display to hear and see throughout the day; so there will definitely be something for everyone, both young and old.
As a bonus, there will be several free workshops at the Bribie Island Seaside Museum for families to check out. Kids can check out the 'Kids Table', where they can create some take-home art. Everyone can go to the micro cinema, for videos and short film screenings. You can also discover the variety of sealife that Bribie Island has to offer by seeing the touch screen learning panel. And to take a piece of Bribie home with you, don't forget to visit the Museum shop, offering kids toys, games and even fishing guides if you want to try some of the latter later.
There are also guided tours of the Museum from 11am till 2pm for everyone to check out, so it's a good idea if you've never been.
For almost a full day, you can enjoy at no expense a great party with family and friends – and one of the best things is, you don't have to organise it. Of course, everything is free this Australia Day at the Aussie Beach Party, so enjoy a great holiday with a day out at Bribie.
So grab your friends and family and join the party; check out all that Bribie has to offer. For more information, including a full guide to the day's events, please see the website or call 3205 0555.
