Celebrate the Launch of Aurora Cafe, Emerald Square with Free Coffee

There's a new coffee kid on the block in the foodie 'burb of Burwood. Aurora Cafe has just opened up in Burwood's Emerald Plaza, and to celebrate, they're flinging free coffees until June 1st. Yep, you can try a regular-sized coffee for zilch, xero, nada (or upgrade to a large coffee for just 50 cents) every day until June 1. If ever there was a reason to get your caffeine (or chai, or hot chocolate) fix, not paying anything for it usually tops the list so I am here for it.





Aurora Café popped up swiftly after the closure of beloved café The Rusty Rabbit, and have wasted no time trying to win customers over. The walls have been freshened up with a green paint job, giving a lush, jungly vibe matched by the green and pink foliage dangling from the ceiling.



The new brunch spot is promising delicious coffee and decadent brunch options - and a quick look at the menu looks like they'll deliver - with favourites like smashed avocado making an appearance, as well as pancakes, corn fritters, pasta and plenty of sides. If you've got a sweet tooth, a tasty treats cabinet boasts cookies, brownies and scrolls for sale.





Burwood of course has a reputation for noodly, Asian goodness - you don't need to walk far to find hand-made noodles, ramen, juicy pan-fried dumplings or succulent momos, but there's a thriving café scene too, and with Aurora joining the ranks, there's no reason to not put Burwood as your next foodie destination, no matter the meal.





You'll find Aurora Café next to Rickshaw Foods and Hen Lee Market Place on level 1 of Emerald Plaza, Burwood.
