The best place to relax with a glass of wine this weekend
There are many remarkable wineries in the Barossa Valley and perhaps its most exciting one is Atze's Corner and their brand new cellar door that has only been open for a few weeks. Within the past few months, there have been quite a few new cellar doors openings along Research Road, but Atze's Corner stands out as something rather unique.
Set back among the vines, the outside of the cellar door does not look particularly remarkable, however, once you step inside you will realise that one must never judge a book by its cover. The interior has a slight industrial feeling with just enough of a splash of rustic charm to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. You will find yourself immediately surrounded by wine barrels, leaving no doubt that you've stepped into a wine lovers paradise.
Atze's Corner has some truly wonderful wines; it's impossible to go past their Wild Rose 2017 Grenache Rose and The Mob 2016 Montepulciano as they are delightful. After a comprehensive tasting, there is an option of having a glass out on the deck with a tasty platter. It is a beautiful atmosphere and an excellent way to relax in the evening as they are open late all weekend.
