Join curators Panagiota Kagali and Roger Karge at LULU Cafe & Gallery for opening night of the Living and Loving in Athens photographic exhibition by Vagelis Poulis this Thursday 16 June from 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm.
Been to Athens? Neither have I, and that is why I am going to this exhibition to learn more about Greece through the eyes of locals.
Panagiota Kagali, curator and your host
Athens may be associated with the 'financial crisis' but those who have lived in, or visited Greece know that it is still one of the most beautiful places in the world. Despite the grim pictures painted by political media reports, the people of Greece keep living, dancing and sharing their culture with the world.
Panagiota and Roger know this to be true, as they have both lived in Greece and that's why they asked Vagelis if they could display his work in Melbourne.
