Crystalbrook Collection is a hotel group offering five-star accommodation and experiences. Places we can only dream about right now such as the lavish Byron at Byron (NSW), Riley a resort in Cairns, Bailey a hotel also in Cairns and Little Albion in Sydney.
The world they offer is all about luxury interiors, fine food and delectable cocktails. The kind of luxury we would all like to be lapping up right now instead of sitting on the couch at home.
So they are coming to us with a series of FREE recipes, workshops and experiences, some live and others pre-recorded. The experiences are to inspire, educate and entertain.
Crystalbrook Collection Recipes
For those looking to enhance their cooking skills, Byron at Byron's Chef Minh will be hosting virtual cooking classes so you can make your own sourdough, or a healthy and delicious home kombucha.
Riley's restaurants in Cairns will showcase Greenfields' Acai Crunch Bowl recipe, Paper Crane's Pad Ka Pro or Rocco's Roasted Pumpkin Hummus.
You will be able to do a virtual rainforest walk in Bryon Bay and a virtual fitness class led by Alexz Parvi, owner of Byron Bay's cult favourite studio Hustl, and a barre (a cross between ballet bar exercises and Pilates) class from Riley. For those wanting to take it slow, a beginner's guide to sketching from Bailey or an interior trends session from Little Albion will do the trick.
Take some time for self-care with Byron at Byron's rainforest and ocean meditation clips or learn something new with a guided rainforest tour with Byron at Byron's head gardener.
Crystalbrook Earth Kids
There's something for the kids too. It's educational content encouraging children to foster a deeper appreciation for the environment both from home and in the wider world. Items like how to build your own bee hotel, a compost system using recycled materials and lessons on renewable energy, teaching them how to build their own wind turbine or at-home rain gauge. Here's an example. And if you are an overseeing frazzled parents it's so simple it's child's play. Watch the video below.
For the little chefs, kids' cooking classes will also be available, showing how to use local produce to make a healthy picnic lunch that can be shared with the whole family. And picnics may well be one of the first things we get to do outside our homes.
Both Earth Kids and adult activities will be added to weekly. So keep checking back. Click here.
Those taking part at home will have the chance to win a Crystalbrook Care Kit filled with some of the hotels' signature amenities, valued at over $180. Simply snap a pic and share to Facebook or Instagram, tagging @crystalbrookcollection and #AtHomeWithCrystalbrook. A new winner will be announced each Friday.
