The Association of Sculptors Victoria is presenting its Annual Awards Exhibition at Victorian Artists Society Gallery this June.Open to the public from 15 June to 3 July, the Association of Sculptors Victoria (ASV) 2023 Annual Awards Exhibition showcases over 100 sculptures by emerging and professional sculptors.The sculpture display is diverse in subject and also medium, including works in wood, bronze, steel, resin and mixed media.There are two main awards - The Margaret Gunnersen William Hoggan Thomas Award and The Andor Meszaros - Australian Decorative and Fine Arts Society-Yarra Prize - judged by Suzette Wearne (McLelland Gallery). There will also be Sponsor Awards and a People's Choice Award.Opening hours are:Monday to Friday - 10:00am to 4:00pmSaturday and Sunday - 11:00am to 4:00pmThe Opening Event will be held on Saturday 17th June 2pm - 4pm.All displayed work is available for sale. Artists will also be present every day to talk about their work.All are welcome to this annual sculpture exhibition in Melbourne.
