What is 'Aslan' in Brisbane

Does anyone know who or what this place is? A Paddington mystery?

Wandering around the Paddington streets on the weekend I was intrigued by this establishment. Before I knew it, my imagination had been sparked.... Brisbane, apart from having great coffee, climate and people, is also the setting of fantasy, magic and adventure. Could it be? Why not? Aslan has to live somewhere- so Brisbane is the obvious choice. After all cats do love the sun!

Is it a gallery ? Is it a boutique? is it some trendy luxury brand outlet? Is it an accountant (ugh hope not-that would be a let down to my romantic musings-no offence to any number crunchers reading this.

Could it be that Aslan is on the move? Or even more exciting is Brisbane the place he calls home? What if to grasp the lion head knocker and rap loudly on the heavy old door; to turn the shiny, brass door knob and cross the threshold to the cool within gives entrance to a portal to Narnia?

What if something about the blood moon we recently have seen in the night skies, has provided the magic, opened a portal so that the right person (me, am I "the One" ?) , at the right moment in time could cross into this place called "Aslan" enter the wardrobe (hey these days it is most likely a built in) and play an epic role in saving Narnia from an harrowing threat.

These days I am sure Edmund, Susan, Lucy and Peter would wear leather and be able to at the very least perform the cool matrix thingy move (you know the slow motion one –when Neo dodges the bullets….)

And of course they would ask Siri to navigate them to Mr Tumnus' house.

As long as all the modern advancements and collective cultural entertainment expectations would not spoil the magic and the wonder of exploring what lies through the doorway of our minds………..
