It's sad when you see local businesses closing after hanging in there through hard times, so I'm happy to post this and help Ascot Books liquidate their stock. They sell good quality, clean second hand books which are generally in very good condition.

As the sign in the window shows, there are some real bargains with over 15,000 books for sale and all are priced under $3. You can hardly do better than that, and it's a great way to build your library.

Their website lists quite a subject mix from car repair manuals and cookbooks to books on learning a new language. You can find their Facebook page here , but it seems not to have been updated recently.

Not only do they sell books, but there are also a big selection of badges and fridge magnets going cheap too.

Opening hours are from 10am to 5pm on Tuesday to Saturday, so pay them a visit soon and have a browse. Ascot Books will be closing for good on Saturday September 29, so don't leave it too long!
