The Little Fish theatre company have successfully presented three seasons of Shakespeare on manicured lawns around McLaren Vale, so for this, the fourth, they have chosen the Bard's cheeky farce
As You Like It.
The tangled tale of the adventures of two young ladies, Rosalind and Celia, in the Forest of Arden, follows all of Shakespeare's tried and true themes of inter-family squabbles, young love, cross dressing and false identity, providing us all the while with many a laugh.
Little Fish is the performance arm of the
JamaeRaw School of Performing Arts and the young cast throw themselves into their roles with great enthusiasm. There's live music, a touch of naughtiness and general camaraderie to draw in and entertain their audiences.
