Due to the delicate nature of the heritage documents in Life in Irons, archivists need to rotate every document and turn pages throughout the exhibition in order to preserve them.

Join historian Dr Jennifer Harrison on a tour of the exhibition after each rotation to learn more about what each UNESCO Memory of the World heritage-listed document contains. Each exhibition tour will delve deeply into personal stories and provide an insight into the key themes, design and conservation challenges of this exciting show.
