Spirited Away and
Castle in the Sky at ArtScience Museum in conjunction with Children's Season.
The award-winning iconic animation company from Japan,
Studio Ghibli, is well-known for its animation films. Its director, Hayao Miyazaki, is a prominent figure in the industry.
The museum had screened
Spirited Away (2001), Ghibli's award-winning animated movie, from 9 to 15 June. From 16 June, it will screen
Castle in the Sky (1986).
Castle in the Sky won the Animage Anime Grand Prix in 1986. The story follows the adventures of young orphans named Sheeta and Pazu. Both are chased by military agents and the pirates led by Dora. Both parties are searching for the legendary floating castle,
Laputa. Robots and technology Find out how these children cherish their friendship in good and bad times.
