Rutherglen, the epicentre of Ned Kelly lore, is forging a new reputation as an arts and food location. Just a couple of hours north-east of Melbourne, it is this year hosting a magnificent Sculpture Trail, organised by Arts Rutherglen. The wonderful and often whimsical pieces are on display in and around Rutherglen and its wineries, so it's a great opportunity to admire the talented locals while sipping on one of the excellent vintages from over twenty wineries in the area.
