Art is for everyone just like education

The Arts Learning Festival 2017 is an exciting five-day event in May for all students, teachers, school leaders, families and the wider community to explore the importance of arts in education.

Presented by Independent Schools Victoria, the festival will run from Wednesday 3rd of May to Sunday 7th of May, 2017 and feature a jam-packed program of interactive projects, workshops, performances and discussions for all ages to enjoy.

There are more that 30 inspiring events and activities celebrating the festival theme of 'unlimited imagination'. Choose from a modern day take on ShakespeareShakespeare and interactive fun circus workshops or fun kite-making and immersive Indian and Asian cultural performances. There is something for everyone - check out the full program here. Please note some activities and events may require bookings.

During the weekdays, the focus is on students, while on the weekend, it is all about families. The festival aims to trigger creative thinking and start conversations about different viewpoints.
