If you've never heard of the Hope Foundation , then their upcoming is a great way to learn more about this great organisation and find out what they are doing to help people in your community.

The official launch of the Hope Foundation's first community drop-in centre for women is a place where women can come in between 10am and 2pm for a free lunch, support, workshops, art therapy and much more. The centre will provide for those who have responded to 'outreach' events held by the Hope Foundation. These outreach events are usually held on Valentines Day and 'Christmas in July' for the 'overlooked' women of Brisbane. The centre will also help out those that drop in by providing them with some great resources and ongoing support. This is a great opportunity for women in Brisbane to connect, share and be looked after free of charge, and as a community initiative, will be provided completely by the Hope Foundation and as a benefit to those who need it.

Of course, the Hope Foundation has many other activities to help those in need in and around Brisbane, one of which is their community programs. The main community program held by the Hope Foundation is the 'Hope on the Streets' street outreach. The Hope on the Streets program sends out a street team from the Hope Foundation that roams the streets of Brisbane in their Hope on the Streets van, which provides a free pick-up and drop-off service to the drop-in centre whenever people need it. The Hope Foundation also aims to serve people by meeting their practical needs in many different ways, one of which involves providing people with basic needs that they otherwise do not have access to. If you want to find out more information about how the Hope Foundation can help you, please call 1300 HOPE4U.

If you would like to get involved in the great work that the Hope Foundation is doing, there are many ways to do this. One is to donate to the Hope Foundation (this does not necessarily need money – often the Hope Foundation requires items for use in outreach events and meeting the practical needs of people; please visit the website for more information). Another way is to partner with Hope Foundation in support of the work they are doing – please visit the website for more details on how you can go about doing this. One of the most direct ways on how you can get involved in the Hope Foundation is actually volunteering; and it may be easier than you think. All you have to do is fill in the online application form, and Hope Foundation will be in contact with you and sign you up for a training session (please visit the website for details).

So head along to the for the official opening of the Hope Foundation's new drop-in centre. Pre-sale tickets are just $10 each, or $15 at the door. For more information, please call 0433 170 263, or email [email protected].
