Youth = Innovation
Are you a budding artist dying to try out new techniques or interesting new mediums to express those artistic thoughts and needs? The Flying Arts Alliance has a fabulous programme coming up which you can register for: Artiz Innovative. Ask your parents for help if you need to, as this is a worthwhile art project.

Artiz Innovative

Artiz Innovative invites young artists aged 14 - 18 to experiment with blending art, science and technology in this three day arts-intensive during the June/July school holidays.

Students travelling from areas more than 300km from Brisbane may also be eligible for a generous travel subsidy to help cover some of the costs of travel, thanks to Brian Tucker Accounting.

What you will be doing ?

You can design wallpaper, learn to make block prints or work with growable textiles. The one which appealed to me was that you can grow things like slime and algae from kombucha tea. Now there is a project. Put electronic gadgetry into your dresses and shorts and learn how the two can blend and match.You can be with like minded young people, and share the excitement of learning new things and the joy of experimentation.
