Held over three fun-filled days (Thursday 28th to Saturday 30th September 2017), the local community is invited to view a wonderful range of paintings in both contemporary and traditional styles in oils, acrylic, watercolour, pastel and mixed media.
ACOP formed in November 1967 and over five decades has remained dedicated to promoting arts and crafts of a high standard. The group is composed of talented local artists, including some who draw their inspiration from the beauty of Pittwater and the Northern Beaches. Over the years, ACOP have held popular exhibitions in the Pittwater area and continue this tradition with the Golden Jubilee Exhibition and Sale this spring.
The Mona Vale Memorial Hall will be transformed into a gallery filled with a diverse range of paintings, including landscapes, portraits, abstracts and pop art. Event-goers can vote for their favourite painting and will go into the draw to win a $200 voucher which can be spent in an ACOP Exhibition during the next 12 months.
In addition to the People's Choice Award, there will also be tables full of both traditional and modern crafts - with many things for babies and littlies, practical and decorative items for the home and wonderful gifts for others or for yourself. You will also have the chance to meet the participating artists and crafters and learn more about what inspires them.
Don't miss this opportunity to help ACOP celebrate their 50th birthday! It's sure to be a fun event for all who attend and entry is FREE! Mona Vale Memorial Hall is close to some great coffee shops, so visiting this exhibition can be part of a wonderful day out!
