Soulful with Massive Crecendos from the band Artist Proof
It's time to get some brilliant music deep in your bones. It is time to party at The Workers Club in Fitzroy. The doors are opening at 1 pm for this fab gig at an astounding price of just $8.00 of your hard earned cash. Make it easy for them at the door and empty out your laundry basket to find all your gold coins.
There are three major acts that are not to be missed. Artist Proof is highlighting their newest single, Blind, from their upcoming album. Artist Proof normally create songs which take the listener on a reflective and soulful journey with massive crescendos. But times are changing and Artist Proof are about to prove you can hit the "sweet sound spot" with a song just 60 seconds long. This new song is a major new style twist for this band.
According to their facebook marketing , Artist Proof is, "Sick of the ever shrinking attention span of the modern listener. So the song Blind thumps in with explosive, garage drums, and lasts for just over 60 seconds, sprinting to the finish line while still conforming to a pop song structure but fitting an entire track into 'preview' length. The lyrics speak of the regret of not learning from your mistakes, and the dark power and brevity of the track tap into the feelings of anger at lingering senses of loss and longing."
Also starring is Sammy Qualthrough, a stunning Melbourne singer, composer, and performer otherwise known as "SammyQ". His vocal style has the three "S's for me; smooth, strong and sexy. He has been taking Melbourne and the world by storm, starring on stage and screen and he recently contributed to the new Adele album, 25, singing a song called Remedy.
