Born in Western Australia but spending most of his life in Queensland, this artist had a career in architecture before spending a decade as a restauranteur at The Lighthouse in Cleveland. A self taught cartoonist, Ed's artistic flair advanced from cartoon doodling on Guinness coasters to producing large scale cartoon wall paintings using acrylics on canvas.
Recollections of growing up in the Spring Hill area have influenced his more recent works which capture his memories of beautiful old Queenslanders and quaint worker's cottages that were the backdrop of his early years.
