Sitting pretty in its commanding position just outside of Tanunda, this beatifully located cellar door outlet and restaurant complex overlooks the heart of the Barossa Valley. In-house restaurant Harvest Kitchen has balcony views that are simply iconic and the food, which includes their famous "Feed me like a Barossan" menu, is equally superb.

The menu is a communal-based and designed for sharing. The "Feed me like a Barossan" option will let you relax while the kitchen team takes over and makes sure you are fed plenty of the Barossan good life according to the season. Thankfully, all seasons involve crispy fried free-range chicken with harissa mayo. So soft and juicy on the inside and so, so crispy on the outside, and spicy with the sauce!

When we booked lunch we could choose from two booking times, midday and 2pm. Dinner is from 6.30 pm on Friday and Saturday nights.

Harvest Kitchen shares its ethos and venue with Artisans of Barossa. A cellar door all about sharing small batch craft wines from six highly awarded local winemakers including John Duval and Spinifex. There's no shortage of local beers, ciders and wines on the drinks list here! I strongly suggest making your booking in advance as Harvest Kitchen is rightly becoming very popular.
