Discovered a network of easy to walk trails at Arthurs Seat, which rises above the Mornington Peninsula at 314 meters. The Circuit Summit walk can be reached by foot, the Eagle Skylift or by car!

I chose to reach the starting point of the trail by riding up the Eagle Skylift. On a clear day, you can see as far as the city skyline, the You Yangs and Mount Macedon. This is an easy to follow 1.8km circuit walk with major points of interest close to the summit of Arthurs Seat. Just follow the Crimson Rosella symbols to stay on the track.

This leisurely walk includes the Matthew Flinders Cairn , Seawinds Gardens , William Ricketts sculptures , the Seawinds Nursery Volunteers Indigenous Garden and all of the major lookouts.

Once at the Seawinds Gardens, approaching the Northern Lookout you will find William Ricketts sculptures nestled into a rock retaining wall. They were commissioned by the last private owners of these gardens, Sir Thomas and Lady Travers.

These beautiful gardens were sold to the State Government of Victoria in 1975. They are a perfect location for a wedding, picnic or just a walk admiring the panoramic views...
