Where can I find ?
is located in Red Hill, an inner suburb of Brisbane just 3km north-west of Brisbane's central business district. True to its name, this suburb is very hilly, and is mainly residential in nature, which makes for a quiet spot for a meal. More specifically, is set amongst the grounds of Red Hill Community Sports Club, with views of the beautiful green lawns - it's tucked away and hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Waterworks Road, the main road from which you turn into the street where is found.
What sort of ambience can I expect at ?
sits amidst a beautiful leafy green garden, with plenty of shade from the harsh Queensland sun (especially in summer!) from either trees or an overhead canopy. Is it possible to
not feel relaxed in such a beautiful environment? invites customers to slow down from the often busy lives that humans tend to live in the modern world, and to really sit down and relax while enjoying a meal, whether it be with friends, family, or by themselves. There is plenty of seating available - choose to sit in the garden itself or in a separate undercover area with artificial grass; both are equally good choices!
What food and drink options are available at ?
There is a wide range of food options available at , at very reasonable prices that start from just $6.50. Choose from items such as house toasted muesli, spring onion hash brown, and beef brisket burger (with smoky bourbon bbq sauce, cheese and pickle). Within this range of options are vegan and gluten-free options for those with these dietary requirements.
Their beverage options are equally reasonably priced - choose from coffee the way
you like it, tea, juice, smoothies, and milkshakes, in addition to a range of other drinks available in the fridge by the counter. There is also a section for food and drinks for the little ones.
How did you find the food and drink at ?
Between two people (and a dog who wasn't allowed to help out - he would have if he had permission!), we ordered:
Tropical J Fizz (passionfruit, mango, orange and lemon)
Apple juice
Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon
Turkish toast with butter
Both the food and drinks came quickly despite being prepared fresh - the appearance of the food (as they are simple, classic dishes) does not capture the great taste that our tastebuds got to enjoy, courtesy of . Plus, although I did not know this when I ordered, the Tropical J Fizz juice is actually one of 's best sellers - and for good reason!
How can I keep my child occupied while we're at ?
has kindly set up a children's play area in a corner of the cafe, packed with lots of different toys to suit all ages, interests, and abilities! The little ones will be able to keep themselves occupied - parents can take a well-deserved break, while supervising from a close distance.
