Adelaide, are you ready to use your flippers to get down? Well get ready, because Australia's catchiest dance trio are heading to Adelaide in July as part of their 'The Experiment' tour. As always with Art vs Science gigs, it proves to be a popular one.
Art vs Science first came to fame after being discovered by Triple J's Unearthed. They got to play at Splendour in the Grass and then followed this show with stints at Parklife, Falls Festival, and Good Vibrations. They also came number 2 in Triple J's Hottest 100 in 2009. While they started small they are now one of Australia's biggest names in popular dance music.
Their singles 'Flippers' and 'Parlez Vous Francais?' had high rotation on Australian radio stations, with their catchy lyrics that you can't seem to get out of your head. 'Parlez Vous Francais?' caused many Australian's to sing a whole load of words they didn't know the meaning of, but loved just the same.
Last year Art vs Science came to Adelaide as part of the Fringe Festival, opening the festival at Adelaide's Biggest Street Party. If the crowds were any indication they sure were one popular act. Unfortunately this time round you can't catch them for free.
Promoting their album 'The Experiment' Art vs Science will surely play some old favourites, as well as new hits like 'Magic Fountain.' So if you're wanting a fun night out, and wanting to get down and dance make sure you head along to their gig.
Art vs Science are playing in Adelaide on Friday the 1st of July at the popular nightspot HQ. Tickets are on sale now, so head to venutix and buy yours today. Art vs Science will be supported by Strange Talk.
HQ is a licensed venue, so you'll have to be 18 if you want to go to this gig.
