Tucked down a Scarborough lane way is The Art Space Collective, an innovative community art hub buzzing with energy and soul.

This August and September The Art Space Collective is the place to be, with a great range of interactive workshops and special events for all to enjoy.

All are invited to come and discover what lies beyond the red door. Take the opportunity to explore this art space and also peruse a treasure trove of riches and curios at the "Pop-Up Emporium" Workshop Exhibition.

Come along and see what The Art Space Collective has to offer and check out upcoming workshops and the studios!

All are welcome to participate in one or all the workshops/events and if you don't want to miss anything, check out the complete event listing below:


Paella Workshop - Straight from Spain - Beatriz and Raquel bring you sangria and tapas and show you how to create authentic paella from scratch - Arte Paella! (20 September 11-1pm / $100)

Seats are still available for the the "I am awesome" kids workshop, which focuses on improving kids' self-esteem, confidence and strengths! Be quick! (19 September 2-4.30pm / $50)

Succulent Sistas are bringing to you not only the ever-popular kokedama - Japanese moss ball - workshops (Wed 26 August 7-9pm / $100 - Booked out new dates to be announced) but its time to get down and dirty with the industrial, edgy flavour of concrete pots run over two sessions, one for pouring, one for painting (14 and 17 September / $120)

Another not to be missed event is with graphic novelist, Christopher Markle, who is teaching the art of figure drawing over four consecutive Saturday afternoons. These workshops cater to beginners, as well as those who wish to enhance their skills. (Sat 22, 29 August and 5, 12 Sept 2-5pm / $200 - Booked out new dates to be announced)

The Art Space Collective wouldn't be what it is without the wonderful life drawing sessions every Thursday evening from 7-9pm. Charcoal, model and easels provided.

Also don't miss Henchy's Acoustic Session on Sunday 30th August from 2-5pm. Enjoy Sunday arvo acoustic vibes at the Art Space Collective! Bring a few bevvies, and kick back with some great Logan Crawford guitar. Entry fee is $10 - spots are limited, so book online!
