Art of Sydney Exhibition at Australian National Maritime Museum

This January, the Combined Art Societies of Sydney Inc. (CASS), is proudly presenting the 24th Art of Sydney Awards Exhibition at the Australian National Maritime Museum.

This anticipated annual event brings together over 300 original artworks from 14 Art Societies around Sydney and showcases a diverse range of mediums, styles, subject matter and methods, including watercolour, oils, acrylic, pastel and mixed media.

The event is organised by CASS, a small dedicated group of voluteer Art Society members and will help raise much needed funds for Care Flight, an aero-medical charity.

All paintings are available for sale and are judged by a visiting judge. This year prominent local artist Glenda Carter acted as judge and the awards will be presented on Opening Night; Thursday 23rd January. Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir AC CVO, Governor of New South Wales will also be in attendance on Opening Night.

The exhibition will then be open daily from the Friday, 24th January (9.45am to 7pm), with extended hours from 9.45am to 10pm on Australia Day - Sunday, 26th January 2014.


The exhibition will close at 6pm on Monday, 27th January 2014.

Entry is free and all are welcome to attend.
