My Very First Artwork
I have always wanted to try painting but my stumbling blocks were:-
I don't know where to begin.
I can't paint.
How can I fit it into my day?
Then I came across The Eucalypt Day Painting Workshop, an online painting course by Art of Flow. I could learn to paint eucalyptus leaves in just 2 hours. I was super curious as to how this could even be possible - especially for me, someone who had never painted anything and was not even good at stick figures!
To my absolute delight, it worked - I am the proud artist of my very first painting. My 3 stumbling blocks to learning to paint had been quashed, no excuses now. Okay, so maybe I'm not an artist yet but I certainly felt like one during the course and it was so much fun.
My Art Space
Art of Flow is an online creative community that brings people together from all over Australia and the world to allow aspiring artists of all abilities to experience a very unique way of painting. You can choose your own space, whether that is in your home, a caravan, your office, or outdoors, you have the freedom to create.
Create Your Own Work Space From Where You Are
The Five Day Creative Adventure begins on Monday 20th March at 11.00am to Friday 24th March on Facebook Live. A very unique experience, unlike any other art course, because you are free to explore your intuitive painting style through dance, music and meditation to tap into your personal creative flow. You will be guided by your art teacher, Gabbi, through a process to paint one big canvas from start to finish - you truly will be amazed at what you can achieve.
Learn Artistic Techniques
Learn about technique and layering. Each artwork is individual because you're free to paint your piece as you interpret it, therefore, no two artworks will be the same. It's awe-inspiring when you see the group's finished artworks because they are all so different and pretty amazing. Especially when you learn that first-time artists are producing these artworks.
Once you have booked the workshop, you will receive a detailed email explaining everything you need to know about the 5-day course, including a suggested material list, how to log into the course and regular reminders. If you are unable to attend the live time slot at 11.00 am, don't worry, because every day after the live session, the recording is uploaded to the Adventure Hub on the Art of Flow website and can be viewed up to 10 days after the course finish date of 25th March. I thoroughly enjoyed my art experience with Art of Flow and was very happy with my eucalyptus leaf painting. I didn't realise it at the time but was fascinated when I looked at my paint palette and realised that I subconsciously used my favourite colours in my artwork. This was because I had the creative freedom to experiment, go with my flow and use colours that came to mind and this is why my first-ever experience at painting was so positive and enjoyable for me.
