Lover of exploring, family, food and fun! I also enjoy painting and creating jewellery - find me on:
Artistic street performances in the NewActon Precinct & NFSA
Art, Not Apart is an afternoon of artistic performances, live artworks, sculptural forms being made and impromptu shows in areas where you least expect. Expect the unexpected at Art, Not Apart! Starting at 1pm, there will be performances in the NewActon Precinct (just a few minutes from the CBD) in Kendell Lane, under pine trees, in gardens, in the Nishi Gallery, inside the Nishi Building and also roving. Just a short walk away at the National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA) there will also be art in all its forms being shown, or performed, in the Arc Cinema, central courtyard, Champagne Room and the grounds outside.

For families, the John Avery Gardens in the NewActon Precinct will have a Family Dance Party with DJ Sammy Pstump between 2pm - 3pm, as well as other family activities throughout the afternoon.

If you want to keep the Art, Not Apart party going, then buy tickets to the after party at "F-ck Art Let's Party" at a warehouse in Fyshwick. Party until sunrise with DJ's and an electronic dance party like no other. Tickets $25. See the Art, Not Apart website below and click on the different locations to see what's on in each area, or just wander around and be taken by surprise! The event finishes at 7pm.
