Running from the 17th to 19th March 2017, this Art In Tune event begins with an Opening Preview & Cocktail Evening on Friday 17 March from 7pm to 10.30pm. The $60 tickets include entry to the exhibition on Sat the 18th and Sun the 19th from 10am to 6pm on both days.
The venue is the Brighton Town Hall and Gardens, Corner Carpenter and Wilson Streets, Brighton. Get your tickets HERE. General tickets for the weekend art exhibition are $10 each with children under 16 going free. A fundraiser event by the Rotary Club of Brighton North, it aids various Rotary charities which include Sandringham Hospital, Family Life, Youth Suicide Awareness and others.
Art In Tune's unique concept is that you relax in the gardens, enjoy the music, food and wine, and view the artist's works at your leisure. However, you can view the 240 artworks online now, so you can start shortlisting the ones you'd love to buy. You can also have a look at the directory of exhibiting artists.
All artworks will only be available to buy at the exhibition. Those attending the opening Preview and Cocktail Party will have the first opportunity to purchase their selection.
Head on down for a weekend of paintings by respected artists, and professional bands who will provide background music at the Preview Cocktail Party and again on Sunday the 19th. With blues, jazz, gypsy and rock on the lawns surrounding the Town Hall, local school bands will be showcased on Saturday the 18th. You won't go hungry either, as food vans and wine merchants will be filled with a range of food and wine during the exhibition and live music sessions on Saturday and Sunday.
