If you're in the Macarthur region anytime from now until October, you can visit the Campbelltown Arts Centre, enjoy a coffee and step back in time with their current exhibition, They Came By Boat. Discover Campbelltown City Council's permanent collection of scientific illustrations, paintings and portraits about the region. Artworks by both convicts and new English settlers depict the lives, landscapes and dwellings of the people who crossed oceans to start a new life in the area now known as Macarthur. 10am-4pm daily. Guest curator: Ruth Banfield. Image: Joseph Lycett, View upon the Nepean River at the Cowpastures, New South Wales, 1824-1825.
