Bill will conduct small classes, which means you will learn all aspects of the art of drawing. The classes will include portraiture, figure drawing, landscape, perspective, architecture and more. Various tricks of the artist's trade will be covered, including application of composition, line, shading and texture.
Bill is an engaging teacher with decades of experience as an artist and teaching art. As an artist and ceramicist his work is featured in Australia and overseas. His work has featured in solo exhibitions in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. Early in his career he completed his teaching degree following his travels through Europe and the U.K., honing his skills as an artist and potter where he taught and painted in Scotland and at National Gallery London.
He has taught art in South Australia and Victoria, in both public and private schools and adult education institutions. In addition, he has taught painting and drawing at T.A.F.E and curriculum studies to primary and secondary teachers at Sturt C.A.E. While living in the South Pacific he taught as an art teacher in Nauru and Kiribati.
