Stimulating and exciting art lessons are on the agenda at Art Classes Brisbane for 2015, an art school which is focused on offering artists of all levels a relaxed and engaging environment to develop their skills.
All budding artists are welcome to come along and participate in a class; whether you're a beginner or of an advanced skill level, there will be a class to suit your needs and interests.
The curriculum for Term 1 2015 consists of Acrylic, Watercolour, Watercolour Pencil, Pen and Ink, Gouache, Mixed Media, Drawing and Mosaic classes.
Each class is facilitated by the friendly Debra Pickering and is held in either a beautiful indoor studio or en plain air in a tropical style garden.
In this inspiring and social environment students can relax, have fun and enjoy the learning experience.
Students can choose to complete their class in a morning session from 9am-12pm; an afternoon session from 1pm-4pm, an evening session from 6pm-9pm, a Saturday morning session from 9am-12pm or Saturday afternoon session from 1pm-4pm.
Term 1 will run for 13 weeks, from Monday the 5th January, 2015 to Saturday 4th April, 2015 (inclusive) and the fees are paid at the beginning of each term.
The complete cost is $390, but each student is given a $30 lesson for free if they attend for the 13 weeks, which reduces the cost to $360.
New students will be allowed a 2 week period (paying $30 per class) before they will be asked to pay for the remainder of the term. This allows students enough time to decide whether they are enjoying the classes and whether they want to continue for the remainder of the term.
Students are not required to bring materials to their first class, but as they progress, they will need to purchase various art supplies; a handy list will be provided at the end of the first lesson.
If for some reason during the term a student cannot make their usual art lesson, they are welcome to make up the lesson on any other day within 1 week of their usual art lesson (excluding Tuesday and Sunday).
This is a great opportunity to try your hand at something new, as well as a fun way to meet like-minded people.
