What kid doesn't love to splash paint about or scrawl on walls. If this is happening a lot you might want to take little Michelangelo to a neighbourhood art class to channel all that creativity away from your walls and towards a more productive end. Here's a list of art classes that kids of all ages who have a penchant for serious art can join.

Blanc Canvas Studios
This studio welcomes anyone who believes there's an untapped artist with a blank canvas trapped inside of them. Of course all kids fit this description along with a handful of adults and so here's a fantastic place to search and find your inner artist. They have after-school and holiday programs as well as weekend workshops for kids. And they're happy for you to hold birthday parties at their studio. You can get more information about classes, timings, fees, as well as parties at Blanc Canvas here.

ArtPlay is just right for older children up to the age of 13 who are obviously artistically inclined. ArtPlay holds workshops conducted by professional artists who will introduce kids to the serious aspects of art through interactive and creative activities. Families are welcome to join their kids in this artistic journey and this may enable them to enjoy art performances and tour art galleries later on. While most activities are free, some have to be paid for. You can get all information here. You may have to book early in order to find a convenient spot.

The Art Factory
Here's a studio where kids are encouraged to find their own rhythm and unleash their individuality in the form of art. Whether painting, crafting, moulding, sculpting, or any other way, kids are allowed to experiment and come up with their own ideas and explore their artistic abilities. Professional instructors offer all the help they might need in this endeavour. They have holiday workshops in addition to routine classes. If you feel inspired by what you're your kids are coming up with and would like to give it a go, they have classes for grown-ups too. They also hold birthday parties with an artistic bend. Art Factory has classes in three locations.

Art Mania
Yet another warm colourful studio that kids will love frequenting and spending time. They learn painting with water colours, acrylics, and pastels. Little artists learn the art of drawing with charcoal as well as pencil. They also get to work with textiles, make collages, or try sculpting. The experience is so varied there's bound to be something they will get hooked on and want to continue. They also hold birthday parties, holiday classes, and private classes.
