The Craft Gallery has put together a series of art classes for beginners in the small township of Yea, located 98km north of Melbourne.
Commencing in October, Sue Schreiber from
Katz Arts Design will be teaching a variety of art mediums over the course of a term at the brand new
Y Water Discovery Centre.

Art Classes with Sue Schreiber in Yea
In a three hour class held every Monday from 6 October, talented artist Sue will teach drawing skills in portrait or landscape using charcoal and pencil, adding colour with oil, acrylic paints and pastels. As a participant in Sue's classes, you will finish the term with a beautiful piece of artwork you can take home and admire.
German born Sue has been teaching artists from beginner to advanced for over a decade at her home studio; this will be the first time she will be sharing her skills in regional Victoria.
Sue migrated to Australia in the 70's and over the years has completed a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, majoring in printmaking at the RMIT in Melbourne and later completed another Degree in Illustration.
Sue has dedicated her time to volunteer for Australian Wildlife by designing artwork for wildlife promotion. Her passion for Australian animals is reflected in her cheerful artwork.

A limited number of participants in the Sue's classes in Yea mean you will complete the term with personalised guidance, going home with a completed piece of artwork in a medium of your choice.
The cost for the term is $330, working out to be $30 per session. All art supplies are provided for the first session.
