Art & About Sydney is now in its 13th year. A collaboration of art shown in every street, laneway, building site, intersection and thoroughfare in the city of Sydney. Along with participating Art Galleries and Museums.

The Festival will kick off on Friday 19th September with Friday Night Live, Sydney's quarter acre long block party.

Martin Place will be transformed into a giant backyard with barbecues pumping and chef's cooking, along with boutique wineries pouring their best - not forgetting a great line up of musicians with Caribbean, jazz, alternative country, bluegrass, folk, Dixie and Latin rhythms. Look forward to hearing The Morrisons, Bustamento, and Hot Potato Band to name a few. I'm sure they will get your feet tapping.

Dress up for fun in your best summer barbecue gear if you dare and enjoy the plethora of events in Martin Place and throughout Sydney commencing this special evening. The Art Gallery of NSW, Museums and Custom House library will be staying open late just for this festival.

Please note: You will be able to catch free vintage bus shuttles from Martin Place to Sydney Museums and Galleries which will be open late until 9.00pm and some 10.00pm just for the festival.

This festival runs from Friday 19th September until Sunday 12th October so get out there enjoy and support this great event.
