ARPA (Australian Retired Persons Association) is an association for people over 50 years young. Anybody over 50 is eligible to join. The aim of the association is to help seniors keep active physically, mentally and socially and also to make new friendships. They have a wide range of activities to choose from. Just to name a few: art, games, book discussion, bushwalking, caravanning, choir, computer learning, cycling, dressmaking, gardening, golf, iPad/internet training, mahjong, outings, photography, tap dancing and many, many more. There is something for everyone. They also hold monthly lunchtime talks.
The membership fee is $48 annually for single and $88 for joint members.
