I am an academic and writer living in Melbourne. I love to travel and I also love writing about all the things Melbourne, regional Victoria and other parts of Australia have to offer.
Leave paw prints all around the bay

Gourmet Pawprints is a Melbourne tour company specialising in outings and experiences where your dog comes too and is, in fact, a VID - a Very Important Dog. Bella the Dog Welcoming Bus is the chauffeur especially fitted out for dogs who, of course, get the prime window seats.

Tours to wineries and historical precincts, as well as picnic adventures, high teas, and many more canine-friendly activities, are all part of the offerings where owners and their dogs can have fantastic experiences together.

A brand new tour is now available, Around The Bay Doggy Trek. This is a unique and exclusive experience taking in the very best Port Phillip has to offer to enjoy with your trusted canine companion. You can enjoy wandering coastal treks on both sides of the bay and travel on board Searoad Ferries - with little paws taking in the view from the outdoor deck area! There is a stop for morning tea in Geelong and an individual picnic basket lunch in Queenscliff, a picturesque town rich in maritime history.

The easy grade walks include a 5km along the pristine waters from Point Lonsdale to Queenscliff. On the Sorrento side, there is a 3km trek walking around the cliff tops and oohing and ahhing at the millionaire houses and fantastic views. Then it will be time to board Bella for the journey home. Your doggy will be so tired by now, you may even hear them snoring and dreaming of the next adventure with Gourmet Pawprints.

There are 2 tours available, one on April 13th and one on May 4th (the first one in March has already sold out), so make sure you book early to get a spot. All important information for the tour can be found here.
