The comes to Melbourne once again, but expect it to be bigger than ever with a number of International guests from feature film, television, animation, comics, anime, manga, gaming and technology appearing at the two-day convention and participating in various panel discussions, special events and autograph and photo sessions.

Also on offer during the course of the weekend of 16th and 17th of October at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, will be a host of special events including a screening of Superman/Batman – Apocalypse (2010) and Barrier - The Invisible Machine , Live Wrestling, a Dominos Pizza – Pizza Eating Contest, an Ice-Cream Eating Contest, a Candy Hunt, a Pillow Fight, a Kamehameha contest, the first Masquerade Ball, the annual Cosplay Parade and the Cosplay Contest.

The anticipated guest list includes American actor Michael Biehn, who memorably portrayed Kyle Reese in James Cameron's Terminator (1984), a role he reprised in Terminator 2: Judgment Day in 1992 – although his scenes can only be viewed in the restored special edition of the feature film. Biehn also appeared in James Cameron's Aliens (1986) as Corporal Hicks and as Lieutenant Hiram Coffey in The Abyss (1989). Biehn has also appeared in a range of feature films including Tombstone (1993), Jade (1995), The Rock (1996), The Art of War (2000), Havoc (2005), Grindhouse (2007) and is making his directorial debut with the upcoming action/thriller The Blood Bond (2010). American Actress Kristanna Loken is probably best known for her role as T-X in the 2003 feature film Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, directed by Jonathon Mostow. Loken also appeared in two Uwe Boll feature films - BloodRayne (2005) and In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (2007) and starred in the title role of the action/science fiction series Painkiller Jane (2007) and in the drama series The L Word (2004).

Two actors who portrayed Doctor Who are also expected at the convention - British actor Sylvester McCoy – The Seventh Doctor (1987-1989, 1996) and British Actor Paul McGann – The Eighth Doctor (1996) in the television movie based on the science fiction television series. McCoy embarked on a respected theatre career and has continued his career in television with appearances in The Bill, Doctors and Casualty. McCoy is also rumoured to appear in the upcoming The Hobbit feature film. McGann is an established feature film actor, having appeared in Withnail and I (1987), Empire of the Sun (1988), Alien 3 (1992), The Three Musketeers (1993) and most recently Queen of the Dammed (2002) and Lesbian Vampire Killers in (2009). British Actress Sophie Aldred who portrayed Ace in Doctor Who between 1987-1989 is also appearing at the convention. Aldred is now an established voice-over artist and has provided voices for New Noddy, Bob the Builder and Dennis & Gnasher.

Michael Shanks, who is known for his award-winning role as Dr. Daniel Jackson in the sci-fi series Stargate SG1, who he portrayed for for ten seasons, is also expected to attend. The role of Jackson was originally portrayed by James Spader in the 1994 Roland Emmerich directed feature film Stargate. Also expected is American Actress Michelle Forbes of Star Trek: The Next Generation fame as Ro Laren and Homicide: Life on the Street as Dr. Julianna Cox. Recently Forbes has appeared in True Blood as Maryann Forrester and in the HBO drama In Treatment and has also appeared in a number of feature films – such as Kalifornia (1993), Swimming with Sharks (1994), Escape from LA (1996) and Perfume (2001). Also American actress Nana Vistor, who portrayed Kira Nerys in Star Trek: Deep Space 9 is also appearing, these days she provides the voice of Rita on Family Guy and appeared in Friday the 13th (2009).

American actress Claudia Christian of Babylon 5 fame is also appearing. Christian, who is also an accomplished musician, is also credited with appearances in Freaks and Geeks, Broken News and Look. Juliet Landau, daughter of the legendary Martin Landau is also making an anticipated appearance. Landau has embarked on a successful television career – credited with appearances in La Femme Nikita, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and has provided voices for Ben 10: Alien Force and Justice League.

There are many more anticipated guests including Miracle Laurie (Dollhouse), Lexa Doig (Stargate SG-1), David Faustino (Married with Children), Bruce Hopkins (The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King), John DiMaggio, best known as Bender of Futurama and Bill Farmer, the voice of Disney characters Goofy, Pluto and Horace Horsecollar. There are also panels featuring established comic book writers including Daniel Way and Ron Marz, illustrator Jason Palmer and comic artists Stewert McKenny and Lar De Souza and the team from Troma Films.
