American comedian Arj Barker has become a household name in Australia and there is scarcely a person who is not familiar with his very unique, very hilarious, brand of comedy. So endeared is he to the Australian public that he's almost like an honorary Australian citizen and he's always heartily welcomed onto our shores. If you haven't had the good fortune of heading along to one of his shows before then this is the perfect time to do so as his 11 tour will be the last Australian tour for a little while as he spends more time at home bringing joy to his fellow Americans.
Always fearless and not one to shy away from controversy, this time around Arj is set to take on 11 of the most contentious issues of our time, amongst them death, prawns, Google Maps and the ever controversial proliferation of 3D movies. And he'll be doing it with a little bit of a twist this time around.
If you've been lucky enough to see Arj Barker in the past you'll know he is partial to the odd musical accompaniment in his shows, often playing a little ditty on his guitar and leaving the crowd in hysterics. Well get ready for a little more of this action as Arj gets ever more in touch with his musical side, breaking up the act with a little ditty here and there throughout the night.
Due to popular demand Arj has added an extra show to his Australian tour and will be playing at Sydney's State Theatre on December 9, but check out the full list of tour dates as he is playing at a whole host of venues throughout Sydney and in Queensland. So be sure to get in soon and grab your tickets before they're sold out and enjoy the hilarious, and at times explosive, whirlwind of comedic genius that is Arj Barker
